Description
A priceless piece of Atlanta Braves history. The original painting and prints were created to commemorate the Atlanta Braves winning game seven over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1992 National League Championship Series. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth and down by two runs, pinch hitter Francisco Cabrera lined a hit to left field to score David Justice to tie and then Sid Bream to win the game. The greatest play in Atlanta Braves’ history is simply known as “Sid’s Slide”. The painting was based on nationally-recognized photographs by Chris Hamilton.
The 30 x 40 original now hangs in The Atlanta Braves offices at Truist Park in Atlanta Georgia and is available for purchase.
